Pick your South Korea eSIM by trip length, data allowance and the limits that matter to you. Our price table compares Airalo, Holafly, Saily, Nomad, Yesim and Ubigi, with prices checked Oct 2026.
An unlimited label does not settle every question. Compare fair-use terms and hotspot allowances alongside the price. If you want a named network, read the provider's network listing rather than relying on its speed headline.

Fair-use notes, quoted from provider pages
Start with how long you need the plan to last, then choose your data allowance. A longer validity period does not mean more data: Yesim lists 1 GB for 30 days at US$3.00, the lowest entry price in our price table. That keeps your initial spend low, but leaves you with a small allowance.
If you want more room without choosing unlimited, Ubigi lists 10 GB for 30 days at US$14.00. At US$1.40 per GB, it has the lowest price per GB in our table. Saily's 10 GB plan also lasts 30 days but costs US$18.99, so compare its other terms before paying more for the same allowance.
Sharing data can change the choice. Saily lists 20 GB for 30 days at US$29.99 and states that it has no hotspot restrictions or limitations. Its allowance is still finite, but its sharing terms differ from Holafly's daily hotspot cap. Choose based on the data you need across your devices, not only on the unlimited label.
For 7 days of unlimited data, Ubigi lists US$25.00, Holafly US$27.50 and Airalo US$29.00. For 15 days, Ubigi lists US$34.00, compared with Airalo at US$49.00 and Holafly at US$50.50. Ubigi has the lower listed price in these comparisons, but price alone does not tell you the fair-use or sharing terms.
Holafly separates phone data from hotspot data. Its South Korea plan lets you share 1 GB per day. Holafly says a 7-day plan includes 7 GB of total sharable data. If you plan to connect another device, treat that sharing allowance as a separate limit.
Holafly also says a network operator's Fair Usage Policy can apply temporarily, in rare cases, for no more than 1 day. Yesim says data speed may be limited under the operator's Fair Usage Policy and reduced once a daily usage limit is reached.
The provider pages we checked do not state a numeric fair-use threshold or reduced speed for Holafly or Yesim, or a speed cap for Airalo, Nomad or Ubigi. Do not read those gaps as a promise of unrestricted full-speed data.
The network names on the provider pages are not all presented in the same way. Airalo identifies a primary network, while Nomad tells you to check the individual plan for network availability and speed. Use these listings as a starting point, not as a guarantee of the same connection everywhere.
Follow the activation instructions for the provider you choose. Airalo says you can install its eSIM in advance with a stable internet connection. In the coverage area, turn the eSIM on and select it for data.
Saily says its plan activates automatically when you arrive, provided you have turned on the Saily eSIM and enabled roaming. Saily gives plans a 180-day activation period, after which they activate automatically.
Nomad lets you buy and install ahead of travel, but says to activate within 60 days of purchase. After that, the plan automatically activates and its expiry starts. Yesim lists activation within 90 days of purchase and says validity begins when you connect to a compatible network.
Check how extra data works before you need it. Saily says a new data plan activates once your first plan runs out. Nomad says an add-on activates when the initial plan expires. Airalo says top-ups are available in many cases, rather than promising them for every eSIM.
Yesim has the lowest entry price in our price table: 1 GB for 30 days at US$3.00. For price per GB, Ubigi's 10 GB plan for 30 days at US$14.00 is lower, at US$1.40 per GB. The lower upfront price and lower unit price are different choices.
Saily states that it has no hotspot restrictions or limitations. Holafly allows 1 GB of shared data per day. If sharing is a priority, compare that allowance separately from the data available on your phone.
No. Holafly says its South Korea eSIM is data-only and does not include a local phone number for traditional calls or text messages. Saily separately says SMS is available with a Saily phone number and text message plan for South Korea.
Holafly says your plan begins when you arrive and turn on the eSIM, with activation occurring when it connects to a supported network. Its example says a 1-day plan lasts a full 24 hours from activation.
