Pick your Thailand eSIM by matching the plan's validity to your trip, then comparing the data allowance, network names, and sharing rules. The plan finder and price table above cover Airalo, Holafly, Saily, Yesim, and Ubigi.
For an island trip, pay attention to the network information rather than treating an unlimited label as a coverage promise. Prices are checked Oct 2026; daily speed allowances and hotspot limits matter as much as the upfront cost.

Unlimited, with a fair-use rule on the provider page: "With Airalo Unlimited eSIMs, this high-speed allowance is 3GB per day at 20 Mbps, after which your connection continues at reduced speeds."
Unlimited, with a fair-use rule on the provider page: "Share 1 GB of data per day with fellow travelers. Create a WiFi hotspot with your smartphone and connect multiple devices using your eSIM."
Plan buttons go to the provider's own page through our /go/ link. We may earn a commission from some providers; it does not change the order above, which is by total price.

Fair-use notes, quoted from provider pages
Start with how long you need the plan to stay valid. Saily's 1 GB plan lasts 7 days and costs US$2.99, the lowest entry price in our price table. Yesim's 1 GB plan costs US$3.12 but lasts 30 days. That makes validity worth comparing even when the data allowance is the same.
For a larger fixed allowance, Saily lists 10 GB for 30 days at US$10.99. Choose a fixed-data plan if you want a defined allowance and price, then check the provider's top-up options before relying on extra data.
Yesim's 50 GB plan lasts 30 days and costs US$40.80. At US$0.82 per GB, it has the lowest price per GB in our table. The trade-off is the larger upfront purchase: a low unit price does not make unused data valuable. Yesim also says speed may be limited under the network operator's Fair Usage Policy.
Compare unlimited plans over the same duration. For 15 days, Ubigi costs US$35.00 and Saily costs US$38.99. The lower price is a useful starting point, but the unlimited label alone does not explain how much data you can use without a slowdown.
Saily states that its unlimited plan includes 5 GB per day without a speed limit, followed by unlimited data at up to 1 Mbps. Saily also lists unrestricted hotspot access. You can share the connection, but the plan's daily high-speed allowance still matters.
Holafly lists unlimited data for 15 days at US$50.50. Its Thailand page limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB per day. Holafly also says a Fair Usage Policy may temporarily apply for no more than 1 day. Do not confuse unlimited data on your phone with unlimited data for a laptop or another traveler.
The Airalo and Ubigi pages we checked do not state a speed cap or fair-use threshold. Treat that as an unresolved detail, not confirmation that their unlimited plans have no restrictions.
Airalo names True as the primary network for its Thailand eSIM. Holafly names True / DTAC. These are the network names to carry into your comparison, rather than relying only on the provider's brand.
Nomad's Thailand page names True / AIS / dtac, although Nomad is not included in our price table above. Nomad tells you to check the specific plan's network availability and speed, and says coverage can vary by location and time of day.
For island trips, Holafly advertises its Thailand eSIM for exploring the islands and says it connects to 5G where available, as well as 4G and LTE. The provider pages we checked do not state island-by-island coverage. A named network helps you identify the service, but it is not a promise of reception at every stop.
Keep your actual stops in mind when reviewing coverage information. An island-focused headline gives you less detail than a plan's network names and location-specific information.
Check that your specific phone supports eSIM before buying, then follow your chosen provider's installation and activation instructions. Installation and the start of plan validity are separate points to check.
Airalo says you can install in advance with a stable internet connection. It also says you can connect the eSIM before arrival if you are outside the coverage area. Airalo offers top-ups where available, so check the options shown for your eSIM.
Holafly emails the eSIM after purchase and says the plan begins when you arrive at your destination and turn it on. Its Thailand eSIM is cellular-data only.
Saily says activation is automatic when you arrive in Thailand, provided you turn on the Saily eSIM in your device settings and enable data roaming. Saily gives plans a 180-day activation period. Yesim also requires activation within 180 days of purchase and says validity begins when you connect to a compatible network.
Saily has the lowest entry price: US$2.99 for 1 GB, valid for 7 days. For the lowest price per GB, Yesim lists 50 GB for 30 days at US$40.80, or US$0.82 per GB.
Saily includes 5 GB per day without a speed limit. After that allowance, its Thailand page lists unlimited data at up to 1 Mbps.
Holafly allows 1 GB of hotspot sharing per day. Saily lists unlimited hotspot access with no restrictions. Yesim says hotspot availability depends on the operator. Compare the sharing rule separately from the plan's total data allowance.
Airalo names True as its primary network. Holafly names True / DTAC. Nomad's Thailand page names True / AIS / dtac and advises checking your plan details for network availability and speed.
